Robert Mosca, DO, Joins Greeneville Internal Medicine

Before joining Summit, Dr. Mosca was in private practice in New Smyrna Beach, Florida for seven years where he directed medical, nursing, and physician assistant students from many of the state universities and medical schools.  In addition, he served as the primary and sub-investigator on multiple clinical studies which included diabetes, hypertension, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, and osteoarthritis. Dr. Mosca also served as the Associate Program Director and Assistant Director of Curriculum for Florida Hospital East Orlando Family Practice Residency.  Additional past academic positions include Associate Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Central Florida Medical School, Nova Southeastern University Medical School and Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, Florida. 

Dr. Mosca was awarded the “2014 Family Physician of the Year” from the Florida Society of American College of Family Physicians. While a chief resident and chief intern at Florida Hospital East Orlando, he was recognized with the “Resident of the Year Award” and the “Outstanding Professional Resident Award.” He earned his medical degree from Nova Southeastern University in Miami and completed his internship and residency at Florida Hospital East Orlando.
