About Dr. Thornton
A native of Brownsville, Tennessee, Dr. Thornton graduated from the University of Tennessee in Knoxville with a bachelors degree in Biomedical Engineering. He received his medical degree from ETSU Quillen College of Medicine in Johnson City, Tennessee. He completed his residency at the University of Tennessee Knoxville Medical Center in Family Practice. He is board certified by the American Board of Family Medicine. He joined Emory Family Practice in 2004.
Dr. Thornton resides in the Halls area with his wife and 3 children. They attend Fellowship Church and he enjoys traveling and golfing.
