About Dr. Edmondson
Dr. Edmondson grew up n Middle Tennessee near Clarksville. He received a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from the University of Tennessee-Knoxville and his medical degree from the University of Tennessee-Memphis College of Medicine where he was elected to Alpha Omega Alpha, the medical honor society. In 1997 he completed the combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics residency program at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
He is a founding member of Cool Springs Internal Medicine & Pediatrics Clinic and has been caring for children and adults of all ages in Brentwood since 1997. As the 2004 "Preceptor of the Year" award recipient at Vanderbilt University School of Medicine, Dr. Edmondson is actively involved in medical student and resident education. He has spoken as a lecturer and panelist as faculty at national meetings for both the American College of Physicians and American Academy of Pediatrics. He is board certified by both the American Board of Internal Medicine and the American Board of Pediatrics. Dr. Edmondson lives in Brentwood with his wife. He ventures out of town occasionally for adventures in hiking, scuba diving, and traveling to meet people of other culture.
