About Dr. Dee
Dr. Jonathan Dee, raised in Knoxville, joined Summit Medical Group in August of 2007. He graduated from Carson Newman College with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry and received his medical degree from the James H. Quillen College of Medicine at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City, TN. Dr. Dee completed his internship and residency at the Spartanburg Regional Family Medicine Residency Program in Spartanburg, South Carolina. He is certified by the American Board of Family Practice.
Dr. Dee takes particular pleasure in coaching patients along as they work to lead a healthier lifestyle. It is also important to him to take the time to listen to the concerns of his patients and to work out a reasonable, logical plan of action to address those issues. He focuses on the personal aspects of patient care, including communicating laboratory and diagnostic test results.
Dr. Dee is married to a local pediatrician with whom he has four beautiful children. Dr. Dee enjoys riding his road bicycle in the hills of East Tennessee.
